Women in Public Finance Chicago Chapter Scholarship
About the Program
Women in Public Finance Chicago Chapter (“Chicago WPF”) is a non-profit, educational, and professional networking organization for women in the public finance industry, specifically throughout Chicagoland. Governed by a 15-member board of directors representing the areas of finance, banking and law, the organization also sponsors a variety of philanthropic events in support of women.
In support of its mission, Chicago WPF plans to award up to three scholarships: the Dana Marinacci Scholarship ($2,000) for women students interested in public finance with a focus on government, the Founder’s Scholarship ($1,500) for women students interested in all scopes of finance, and the Claire Goodman Memorial Scholarship ($1,000) open to women students with an interest in financial services. The scholarship awardees will also receive ongoing mentorship and access to a limited number of Chicago WPF educational and social events during the year.
Applications for the 2022-23 school year must be submitted no later than Tuesday, August 22, 2022.
Proof of enrollment in the fall semester of study for 2022 must be provided to Chicago WPF before funds will be disbursed. If you have questions, please contact Chicago WPF at [email protected].
